I am decended through Lott Gregory, from North/South Carolina. The main part of the family settled in Attala Co MS. My greatgrandfather was John C Gregory and he was Married to Electra Phnio Clementine Peeler. I am decended from Issac Peeler of South Carolina, I can trace it back to Michael Anthony Peeler in 1633 on the Robert & Mary in Philadelphia PA He went back to Holland and came back in 1637 with his family Michael Anthony Peeler jr

Thanks For The Respond. I Been Trying To Tie The Gregor / Gregory Clan To Gether. Ive Looked At Several Sites And See MacGregor Coat Of Arms And Badges On Gregory Sites. I Thought This Was Strange. Im Going To Get The Book Surnames Of Scotland Agin. By Dr. G.F Black. Origins Of Surname Macgregor. See Also Giric. King Kenneth 1 Year 843-858 Was Succeeded By His Brother Donald 1. 858-863. Kenneth,s Eldest Son Constantine 1 863-877. His Younger Brother Aed 877-878. And Then Donald's Son Giric 878-889. Any Way In The Nut Shell, Giric Became King. Giric Was The Gregory The Great Of The Feudal Fables And The Legendary Ancestor Of The MacGregors. Gregory Is A Name That Goes Back To Saint Gregory 1. 3 rd Centary. Attributes Of Gregory The Great And Connected Him With The Royal Line Of Kings,The Clan Gregor At Once Recognised Him As Thir Aponymous Ancestor, And Thir Desent From Him Is Now Implicitly In By All The MacGregors. I Left A Lot Of This Out. I Found This On Genealogy.Com. Per Surnames Of Scotland. Posted By Fiona Sinclair. Maybe This Will Help Me And Others Figure This Out. Let Me Know What You Think Good Are Bad.
